| Description | A dangerous game from a dangerous troop. Snake hockey is played much like regular hockey except the puck is a piece of knotted rope and the sticks are just sticks (or hockey sticks with no blades). |
| Basics | Each team has a net and there is a goalie who defends that net. The teams try to put the puck in the other team's net more often than it is put in theirs. Sticks are not weapons, contact is incidental and the sticks can't go more than waist (shoulder) high. |
| Why is this something we want to do? | This combines the rules of ice hockey and lacrosse, making for a fast-paced game where no one is likely to be well-practiced. |
