A 42" exercise ball was used for a spirited game of Snow Soccer at Winter Camp XXIX, played in the field near the Beaver Creek shower house. Over the course of the game, Winter Camp's tendency for full-contact soccer re-emerged, reaching a peak right around the time that the ball was punctured. Play continued with players kicking a deflating ball until even that became too difficult. At that point, the game morphed into a variant on team handball. Will Gagnon and Scott McHugh proved equally capable goaltenders, as the game ended in either a 2-2 or 3-3 tie. The game was called just before the first injury.
