Current Entry: Pterodactyl Kite Flying
Ethan Rein procured ten pterodactyl kites for this Winter Camp XXXIX event, which tied into the Jurassic World theme. The kites, in blue and purple, were launched at Trout Lake field. The lites were equipped with glass-impregnated string for kite fighting, but merely flying the kites proved to be so challenging-no more than 4 kites were ever airborne at once-that no battles were staged. Gabe Church was the first to get a kite in the air; Alan Wilson achieved the highest flyer.
