Current Entry: The Face
Long known as the more or less unofficial name for the hill fronting the Ordeal site and used as a sledding hill at several Winter Camps, The Face received a sign bearing its name as part of the Squaw Point sign project at Winter Camp XXV. That this was probably the most successful of the six sign placements was confirmed when The Face was listed as landmark "G" on the official November 2003 map of D-A. The sign remained in place through 2004, but had been removed by Winter Camp XXIX.
