Good chapter turn out at the Lincoln Pilgrimage yesterday. GWD gave his speech about Lincoln and George Thomas. There were about a dozen activities.

It's a real winter wonderland here in Lansing today. Luckily my street was plowed earlier than I expected.

I think I'm going the weekend.
Anyone else who wants to come out and help should. The Lodge is no longer doing the pilgrimage but our chapter is running activities for the event which is actually sponsored by the Trainor Museum.

Big topic is probably getting ready for the Pilgrimage on Feb 7 at D-bar-A. It's no longer a lodge event -- it's being put on by the Trainor Scout Museum with Migisi Opawgan chapter helping with manpower and events.

Another one I wondered about is the H index, where at least that many campers have attended that many nights. Turns out it's 27, meaning there are 27 campers who have spent 27 or more nights, but there aren't 28 with 28 nights. That one could go to 29 if Timmy attends all 4 nights next year.
For camps, the number is 13. There are several campers who could be the 13th to be at 13 camps. That number will probably be constant for the next several years as Gabe Church with 10 is the next one who has attended camp recently.

Officially? I don't know if it's ever been utilized officially -- it's mostly about bragging rights although I know there are a few people who track their positions.
This year I noticed that John now has Dr. Beast in his rear view mirror.
K2 moved ahead of Dave Milon I think for the first time.
Ethan had a huge jump from I think 17 to 13, passing Pejuan, Draper, Kupser and Tim Hunt
Gabe passed Mark Hunt and I think he'll be in the top 20 next year.

When was the last time the pecking order was utilized?

Does anyone see value to restoring the alternate pecking list? It works like the current one for the most part except your number of camps is reduced by 1 for each year you haven't been. Tom Conroy is the absolute lowest on the pecking order for example.
